Life is all about being happy right? We want to feel loved and give love. Then all else falls in to place, right? Well then the things like looking good in that new pair of skinny jeans or getting that promotion at work. Or maybe what makes us happy is starting a family, having enough money to live comfortable in a big home. The point is, our life should be filled with happiness.
And yet, we often are afflicted with health problems that can dampen that happiness. We are often overwhelmed, stressed, tired and upset with our busy lives. We become imprisoned inside our busy life and that happiness dies.
Life Is A Daily Struggle
Or it can be a daily struggle. Your entire life can be nothing more than one struggle after another. You may have financial struggles, job struggles, family struggles and then your own personal struggles. You have aches & pains, you feel bloated, fat and simply overwhelmed. That is imprisonment with life and it isn’t healthy.
Most times we can chalk our poor physical health to our poor mental health. What we have to realize in life is that we cannot do everything by ourselves. We have to know when to reach out to someone for help and support.
Our Basic Needs Are Essential
When we can acknowledge what our basic needs are and realize how essential they are to our well-being, then we can begin the track to a healthier life. Those basic needs include:
• To be loved and give love
• To give love to our significant family
• To be patient
• To have confidence in ourselves for new chapters in our lives
• To notice that we do have “gold” in our life
• To walk this Earth with a pep
Life isn’t forever. It is here once and then gone. If you’ve been living with one struggle after another, maybe it is time to look at what you keep doing and take different steps! Take a look around and notice what the good things in your life are. Then take a look around at others problems and woes and you probably will be energized and feel better when you see just how well you do have it.
When you have a positive behavior or positive thought, reward yourself with something right then. Whether you buy yourself a new blouse or shoes, a new golf club, a candy bar or something else, reward yourself in some way. Regardless of what you reward yourself with, prepare yourself with the right tools to make a positive impact and you’ll find you enjoy life better and have better health.
